Chuck Trahan Vice-President of Operations
Chuck Trahan is Vice-President of Operations for Mathias Homes, Inc., where he is responsible for all construction related operations, including purchasing, estimating and construction.
Chuck is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served in the navys nuclear submarine force for twenty-one years prior to his retirement from active duty in 1994. Significant tours of duty included Chief Staff Officer Mare Island Naval Shipyard, Deputy Commander, Submarine Squadron SIX, Commanding Officer USS SPADEFISH (SSN 668) and Board Member CINCLANTFLEET Nuclear Propulsion Examining Board.
After retiring from the navy, Chuck was certified to teach secondary school mathematics and taught for two years in the Round Rock Independent School District before entering the home building business. He began his home building career with Wilshire Homes where he rose from Assistant Superintendent to Operations Department Program Manager. He later joined Armadillo Homes as Vice-President of Construction where he remained until 2006, when he left to join Mathias Homes. Chuck currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. He was a founding director of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Round Rock, and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Round Rock Soccer Association. Chuck remains involved in soccer as a referee at the youth club and high school levels.
Chuck is married with three grown children and his hobbies include golf, camping and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. |
